In preparation for the world’s largest gathering on the rights, health and well-being of women and girls, the Women Deliver 2019 Conference, the Government of Canada is mobilizing all sectors to take action on gender equality by investing in innovative cross-sector partnerships. Maryam Monsef, minister for Women and Gender Equality, announced two new initiatives: one with BMO Financial Group and the other with the Canadian Partnership for Women and Children's Health to stimulate partnerships between diverse communities, civil society and public and private sectors in order to advance gender equality.
